2. Company Profile
Established in May 2001, originally as Markland Klaschka, Studio
Klaschka is a London based studio of architecture & design with
cross sector professional experience at all project stages.
Central to the approach of each and every project is the belief that
collaborative working and intelligent design will improve lives through
the creation of well defined, desirable and sustainable places.
We believe that understanding the needs of the client and the wider
project context establishes the foundation necessary for successful
creative collaboration and we therefore consider the process of
briefing to be bespoke to each project. Often working as contractor’s
architect, we believe that the processes of design and construction are
inseprarable and that the best results are delivered through true team
effort.
The practice has a growing reputation as one of the most technically
advanced design studios, using Bentley Architecture BIM (Building
Information Modelling) software to ensure the successful and efficient
delivery of our design work alongside the production of high quality 3D
visualisations.
Services:
• Full RIBA architectural services
• Collaborative working in contractor’s project team
• Specialist detailed 3D modelling
• Private and developer led residential experience
• Commercial, education, leisure experience
• Concept design from masterplanning to interiors

3. Branding
Our experiment with social media started when we were
still Markland Klaschka but changing the company name in
September 2010 gave us the opportunity to re-brand and consider
social media and our online brand recognition at the same time.
The common trend online of a square icon at varying scales
became a strong driver for our graphical design exercise. It also
allowed us to have a fresh start after a couple of months of
playing around.
